For the past month we've been holding writers meetings and brainstorming scripts. While that's been going on, I've been trying to gather equipment for our production. We've had two VERY generous donations from Mr. Bill Harris and my father, Mr. Randy Smith. Both of those gentleman have showed interest in my work with film and they have both been very supportive. So a big... wait no... HUGE thanks to both of them for continually helping me out and helping the production group out.

We now have film and sound equipment ready to go! We'll be filming a short film idea this weekend that we kinda created on a whim to test out footage. We've been shooting film the past few weekends but it hasn't really worked out for numerous reasons but I think we have those problems resolved now. Especially since we just received our new audio equipment. Not making any promises but hopefully we'll have a short up very soon for you to see what kind of work we're capable of.

Here are a few of the positions I'd like to have filled before we begin working on any of our projects...

-Writer                                    -Camera Operator
-Lighting                                 -Sound
-Set Dresser                            -Assistant Director
-Actors                                    -Editor
-Production Assistant             -Music
-Community Manager (Website Admin)

Those are just a FEW things that come to mind when looking for people to help. So if you have a certain skill that could help us, please don't be shy, let us know! Since we are short on helpers at the moment, one person may have to cover a couple of these positions. We are strictly just making these movies for fun, so please join us and have a good time!

Thank you to those who came out. We had some ideas that we started on and they've grown over the past week. Our shared Dropbox has two new projects we'll be able to work on. So the ball is for our production group is moving right along!

I've heard many amazing ideas and goals that people would like to express through film. So last week, I started looking into buying a website. This sounds pretty easy but I'm VERY indecisive and couldn't settle on a name. After many days of throwing names back and forth between a few people, I settled on Perilous Pixel. I really like the way it sounds, and to be honest... It was one of the few names that wasn't taken. So thus... the begging of Perilous Pixel! So now that I have the website slightly in order, I'm looking for more individuals who are interested in joining the film production process. So I'm going to write a few talents we're actively seeking.
